The accreditation process is a national, high-rigor assessment conducted by healthcare experts to review and ensure compliance with standards of care, service delivery, and environment and management oversight. “Receiving accreditation from The Joint Commission is a gold stamp of approval and a testament to the quality care provided at Rawson Neal,” said Governor Brian Sandoval. “I would like to thank the staff for their dedication to providing the highest level of care.” “I am extremely proud of our staff and appreciate this public and national endorsement of their great work,” said Chelsea Szklany, Deputy Administrator, Division of Public and Behavioral Health. “Accreditation validates adherence to safe, high-quality care, treatment and service standards.” SNAMHS received notice March 26, 2015, it was granted accreditation from The Joint Commission effective January 30, 2015; accreditation is valid for 36 months. SNAMHS joins its sister agency, Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services, as an accredited organization for the quality care provided at Dini-Townsend Psychiatric Hospital in Sparks, Nevada.
