2015 Minds In Motion Scholarship Program Application Deadline Is 4/15!!

The 2015 Minds In Motion Scholar-Athlete Scholarship sponsored by The Allstate Foundation is underway and continues to accept applications up until the deadline of 12 Noon on Wednesday, 4/15/15. Student-athletes, don't delay, apply today! This is the 8th year for this prestigious recognition event to honor those who have excelled on the playing field and in the classroom. Applicants must have a minimum 3.25 unweighted overall GPA and have participated in interscholastic athletic activities sponsored by MPSSAA during their high school careers. Selected male and female recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship and be honored at a luncheon in the Baltimore Ravens locker room at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday, May 28th. Each of the nine MPSSAA districts will have at least one recipient selected. Scholarship winners will be notified by Friday, May 1st via email followed by an official letter in the US Mail.
Please note that completion of the online application grants permission to the MPSSAA to receive a transcript and SAT/ACT score verification for all Finalists. Checking off the "Agree To Terms" button at the end of the online application also indicates that the applicant will make all necessary arrangements to be in attendance at the luncheon on May 28th.
Students with an immediate family member (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, ward, daughter or son and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) employed by The Allstate Foundation ("Sponsor"), Allstate Insurance Company, any Allstate insurance agency and persons living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win this scholarship. An eligible minor must have his/her parent's or legal guardian's permission to enter. Void where prohibited by law. Program is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

Tonight's Orioles-White Sox game postponed

After consultation with the Baltimore City Police Department, tonight's game between the Orioles and the White Sox at Oriole Park at Camden Yards has been postponed.
An announcement regarding the make-up date will be made as soon as possible. Fans are encouraged to keep their tickets and parking passes until more information is made available.
The Ravens have the 26th pick in the first round, which begins Thursday night.
Draft week is finally upon us.
The Ravens build their roster through the draft, so this could easily be considered the most critical time of the year outside of the actual games.

TV Coverage:
- ESPN kicks off coverage Thursday at 7 p.m. (one hour before the draft), and it continues on ESPN 2 Friday and Saturday when the draft begins each day. Ray Lewis will be part of the main set analysts, along with Mel Kiper Jr. and Jon Gruden. Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter will serve as NFL insiders and Suzy Kolber will interview the players.
- NFL Network’s “NFL Draft Kickoff” begins Thursday and Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. Rich Eisen will be the host with analysts Mike Mayock, Steve Mariucci and Stanford Head Coach David Shaw.
