EDUCATION COMMITTEE 

 

The Education committee will review legislation dealing with K-12 education issues and will recommend positions on that legislation to the Legislative Policy Committee. These recommendations will be based on what is best for the business community and the overall Chamber membership.

 

The Education Committee may also be called on to serve throughout the year as needed for other K-12 education matters.

 

Members of this committee must be Chamber members in good standing and should have some general knowledge of the K-12 education system. Committee members will serve a 1 year term. MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

  

The Chamber is seeking recommendations for our Membership Committee. Those who join the committee will be tasked with creating creative ways to benefit and recruit members for the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. 

Potential committee members should be active in our community, and must be eager to contribute to the economic prosperity of the region.

Committee members will be tasked with helping the Chamber generate prospect lists and will be asked to make calls on the Chamber's behalf.

Additionally, committee members will be asked to suggest cost-effective programs to provide additional value to Chamber members. 

The committee will meet monthly and members will maintain regular contact with Chamber staff.

MARKETING COMMITTEE

 

The Chamber is seeking energetic and motivated volunteers for our Marketing Committee!
Committee members must be active and interested, community focused individuals who will contribute to our regional prosperity.

Committee Volunteers will be tasked to generate outside-of-the-box, low-cost, high-value marketing strategies for the Greater Shreveport Chamber. Additionally, committee members will secure marketing related in-kind sponsorships for print work, advertising and other marketing related materials.

The Marketing Committee will meet monthly, and maintain regular contact with Chamber staff.
