DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE ANNOUNCES FREE PESTICIDE COLLECTION IN YERINGTON FEBRUARY 21, 2015
SPARKS, Nev. – The Nevada Department of Agriculture is sponsoring a free pesticide collection day in Yerington Saturday, February 21, 2015.
Take this opportunity to properly discard old, unwanted and unusable pesticides. All applicators, including nursery operators, landscapers, licensed pest control operators, farmers, ranchers and other pesticide users, including homeowners, are eligible.
Products that will be accepted: insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, rodent baits and other pesticides.
The following products will not be accepted: batteries, motor oil, antifreeze, degreasers, pesticide rinsate and fertilizers and nutrients that do not contain pesticide active ingredients.
